From the Far Wide to the Near Shore- new exhibition.

From The Far Wide to the Near Shore is my new exhibition opening Thursday the 24th of September at Ards Art Centre from 7pm to 9pm, everybody is welcome and it would be lovely to see you RSVP here. I’ll be showing a range of my objects and artefacts, things seemingly familiar yet pulled from another place. Tools and utensil forms sketched out in combinations of metal, found objects and gathered materials.

Even though I’ve been quiet on here its been a busy, if chaotic year with fulfilling commissions, working towards this exhibition and developing a brand year body of work for the Museums of Northern Ireland Scotland exhibition project, tentatively titled Modern Celts. Still a bit early to show any of that work but to will be coming soon. Also I plan on having a jewellery refresh in the next month or so, seems like the appropriate time of the year for it!
