Exhibition works away..

It’s been a busy few weeks getting work finished and away to various exhibitions. I have sent a set of utensils and a pair of framed drawings  [which will hopefully survive my bad packing!] to Mottisfont. Pictures of the framed drawings pre packing and a new knife piece made for the exhibition are shown below.

I have also sent off the first set of work to Gallerie RA with another set to follow next week- lots of ideas and pieces in process- the difficulty will be stopping! I am also pleased to say I will be attending the opening of New Silver at RA on the 15th of December and I’m really looking forward to it. Below is a little detail shot of one of the pieces, oxidised silver bound and pinned together with a driftwood handle.

Finally, in support of the new Crafts Council of Ireland Portfolio website, which features my work, I have sent a series of pieces down to Dublin for a short exhibition at the RHA Gallery, which opens later this week. Seven Standing Tall and the Silver Vessel with Screws will be shown alongside the work of some of Irelands best makers, such as Rachel McKnight, Joe Hogan and Deirdre McLoughlin.
